The PPDAA Board Chairman Hon. Ayii Akol Bol and the Executive Director Hon. Deng Akuei Kak met Hon. Dr. Marial Dongrin Ater (PhD) the Minister of Finance and Planning to brief him of the progress  made by the PPDAA, the Development Partners (DPs) and other relevant Government Institutions in setting up of the procurement and disposal of assets system in South Sudan.

They also briefed him of the ongoing preparations of the 17th East African Procurement Forum, and requested for the Government support through the Ministry of Finance and Planning to make the event successful.
The Minister pledged his support and appointed Abraham Diing Akol, an Advisor to the Minister to be a member of 9-Members Steering Committee responsible for overseeing the preparations of the Forum.
