International delegates from East African Community Partner States gathered at the closing ceremony of the 17th East African Procurement Forum, held in Juba from 11 to 14 May 2026. The Forum brought together representatives from South Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and Zanzibar, alongside development partners, professional bodies, academic institutions, civil society organisations and private-sector representatives. Their participation strengthened regional knowledge-sharing and cooperation on beneficial ownership disclosure, electronic procurement, procurement professionalisation, sustainable procurement and other reforms aimed at improving transparency, accountability and integrity in public procurement.
